NJ MAJOR INCIDENTS

~11th Alarm~ Date: 1/29/2021 Location: Seventh Street, Passaic NJ. Just before midnight Friday evening a fire broke out in a massive paper recycling plant. The flames, fueled by the tons of paper, propane tanks, and whipping winds, quickly consumed the contents and structure of the building. Flames and smoke could be seen for miles as departments from all over NJ converged on the scene to help.

One year ago today. Elmwood Park responded to The Marcal Paper Mill for a reported fire. Crews were faced with extreme temperatures and wind that hindered efforts to control the fire. Which quickly spread to the entire complex. Resulting in a 10+ Alarm response.

Bound Brook 7+ Alarm

CLOSED DOOR INITIATIVE

According to NIST. on Average 40 years ago you had 17 minutes to escape your home in the event of a fire. Today that time has drastically reduced to

3 minutes! We cannot stress enough to sleep with your doors CLOSED!
